Who Are We?

This website was made by members of the Grand Falls-Windsor Tech Team. The Tech Teams is a new program across the province through a collaboration between the College of the North Atlantic's Office of Applies Research and Innovation (OARI), and the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education. The program aims to recruit high school students who have an interest in technology and have them work with post secondary students to brainstorm and develop technology-based projects that will help out their local communities.

What We Do

Our Tech Team in Grand Falls-Windsor were eager to develop useful projects that the town can utilize going forward. The "theme" for the Tech Teams across the province was the applications of QR codes. Taking that into consideration, we have developed this website, which you've accessed using a QR code! If you look around town, you may notice QR codes posted up at various locations. Each page of our website will give you access to a number of features, including trivia about the area, a way to report litter, and even a scavenger hunt at Corduroy Brook!
